Rogier Pouwer is the Director of Automation Engineering & Operations Technology for Western Midstream Partners, LP.  His team is responsible for Project & Operations Engineering Support for the lifecycle of all instrumentation, automation, SCADA, asset management, and operations management solutions with focus on safety, operability, reliability, and data integrity.  He's worked for Western since it became an independent midstream company in December 2019.

Prior to Western, Rogier worked as the Automation Engineering Manager at Anadarko (and Occidental Petroleum after it acquired Anadarko) with responsibility for automation project & operations support for all of Anadarko's US onshore production and midstream assets.


Before Anadarko, Rogier worked various engineering, business development, sales, marketing, and consulting roles at Barry D. Payne & Associates, Honeywell, AspenTech, and Setpoint.

Rogier is happily married to his wife of 28 years, Melanie, and is the father of 8 children.  Rogier graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
