Ronda has been in the oil and gas business since 1996 where she has worked for major midstream pipeline companies, along with consulting for smaller midstream and upstream companies. Her extensive experience has been in pipeline operations, environmental, safety and regulatory programs. This experience also includes working for six years with the Texas Railroad Commission as a Pipeline Engineering Specialist III. During her tenure there, she routinely performed safety inspections and accident investigations of Natural Gas Distribution, Gathering and Transmission pipelines as well as Hazardous Liquid Gathering and Transmission pipelines.
Currently, Ronda holds certifications for OSHA 10, OSHA 30, DER and Supervisory roles in PHMSA Drug & Alcohol regulations, T-Huet Training, and is a NACE CP 1. She is involved in API work groups for API RP 1182 and RP 80 (Gathering Pipeline delineation and regulations) and Operator Qualification Programs, as well as API RP 1162 (Public Awareness/Damage Prevention Programs). Ronda has spent the last 14 years managing every element and program associated with DOT/PHMSA regulations for operators, ensuring compliance and facilitating the agency inspections, including follow up and resolutions to any identified concerns or alleged violations by the Agencies. Ronda is well versed in the regulations regarding the pipeline industry as required for PHMSA Interstate pipelines and State Agencies for Intrastate pipelines, along with OSHA 1910 Health and Safety requirements and EPA/State DEQ Environmental requirements. She stays well-informed of the current and proposed regulations, able to identify how regulations currently or could affect the pipeline assets that she covers under these programs.
